Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father comes from a Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. She has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder made the move with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder began to be a passionate reading book because there was no television. In 1983, when she was 12 Ryder took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. In 1986, she was offered her first role on the big screen in the film Lucas aged just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied at her high school. Her performance career, as she had hoped, would help her. However, unfortunately, it wasn't to be. However, she remained committed to her goals. Her big break came in 1988 with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her parts in several films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
