Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award award-winning jazz musician. Her birth date was 20th February 1937 in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio to Olden Wilson who worked at the ironworks as well as Lillian Ryan, a former domestic employee. Nancy was the youngest out of 6 siblings. The father of Nancy was a music lover and played records at home. This was a major influence in her early years. It was clear that she wanted to be a singer when she was just four years old. She began developing her talent by singing in the church choir. After winning a talent competition on TV when she was 15 years old, she began appearing regularly in Skyline Melodies, while still in high school. In the year she turned fifteen, she began her journey in night clubs. Nancy was kicked out of Central State University in Ohio after being matriculating for a full year. Her first album was with Rusty Bryants Carolyn Club Big Band, who she performed with from 1956 until 1958. Nancy's very first Dot Records recording was made during her time in the Big Band of Carolyn Club. Cannonball Adderley told her to move to New York to further her career and she went to The Big Town at the end of the year 1959. Within a couple of weeks the manager of Adderley was impressed by her voice and hired her. He obtained a contract for the label Capitol records in 1960 and she debuted that year with the single. Guess Who I Stopped Today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a time span of 2 years. With the help of Adderley's influence the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away from R&B into jazz. Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley together with their 1962 group led her to the top of the charts. Her breakthrough smash Tell Me the Truth by 1963. This brought her a gig at the New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America in the year following and she became a star.
Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actor who works in both television as well as films. She is known for playing lead role of Chloe Winthrop in Netflix film The Kissing Booth. In the ABC Biblical Series Of Kings and Prophets in which she was the King's daughter Michal. Other than that the TV credits include The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow and Group Chat With Annie & Jayden. Maisie Richson-Sellers, born March 2 1992 in England (United Kingdom), is the daughter of Joy Richardson. Joy Richardson, her mother's full name, is the name she uses to share with you. She was a student at an elite private school before graduating from Oxford University. She holds a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology. Maisie was first introduced to acting in 2012 with Our First World. Maisie was featured in the short feature film Americano and Rum as Ellie in the year 2013. She played a cameo as Korr Sella, in Short Wars: Forces Awakening in 2015. She acted as Chloe Winthrop in Netflix's original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3.
