The Jazz musician Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20 1937 in Ohio, Chillicothe. She was the daughter of iron worker Olden Wilson and the former Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy was the youngest of six siblings. In 1959 Nancy made the move to The Big Town. She was hired to perform at The Blue Morocco Night Club located in The Bronx, where Adderley's agent had seen her. Her debut on the recording stage came in the year 1960, with a single after he obtained the contract with Capitol records.
