Charissa Thompson, born May 4, 1982 in Seattle Washington United States is one of the most well-known and wealthy Sportscasters. ESPN analyst who was hired as co-host of SportsNation during the year 2012. She co-hosted ABC's Splash series along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson grew as a child in Seattle Washington. Youngest of the three, Thompson wanted to go into broadcasting at a young age. She graduated from Inglemoor High School located in Kenmore Washington. Thompson was admitted to California for a community college in order to gain California residency. Later, she transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara where she graduated with the degree of B.A. She graduated in Law and Society with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004. Thompson explained that, while Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she wasn't enrolled in Washington State. Prior to her sports broadcasting career Thompson received an email from Sports Illustrated offering her to wear body paint in an Swimsuit Issue.
